Edmonton

I decided I need sometime away which is funny considering that I have been away for almost 4 years, but after all that has been happening in the family I decided I needed to see Josie and the family. The girls have been missing Ceva and we have been missing them so off we went to Edmonton....

Stan joined us later in the week as a surprise for Chris and the girls, that was a hard secret to keep, but totally worth it!

overwhelmed

Well the family has been feeling overwhelmed. Grandma passed away which was hard on the family and then 5 days later her sister whom she talked to every night! passed away in Calgary. It has been a sad and reflective time for our family.

walking running fishing

We like to go for a walk every day, today we went after dinner. Dad, Stan, Ceva and I went for a walk, well Stan ran and we walked ran. As we approached the 1/2 way point of our walk we came to a fishing pier. We had a great experience of watching a young man catch and release a Sturgeon about 4-5 feet long, here are some pictures of the fish...

WE'RE HOME!!!!!!!!

Ok we have been home for about a week but I needed sometime with my family and to get use to the BIG city again! We have returned to Vancouver after living in the South Pacific for the last 4 years. What an adjustment, cars, traffic, broccoli that I can afford! Went to the market this weekend and I bought a bag of peppers for 4 bucks, one pepper in Fiji would have cost me 7-9 dollars.

I thought I would be able to shut this blog down once I got home but I have been asked to keep it going for our friends and family we left behind in the South Pacific, and it will be my pleasure to do!

I also want to apologize for the lack of photos but the internet in Fiji was a nightmare and I wanted some hair left when I came back. Now that I am back my external hard drive that I saved my pictures on is acting up... so I will get some pics of Sebastian's first birthday posted when I get the hard drive happy. Mean while I will upload some pictures of our first week here.

So there you have it; happy to be home but miss Fiji, Friends, and Family terribly...

Love Jay Stan and Sebastian
