As we were driving we saw a precession of women with these elaborate things on their heads. The thing is known as a Gebogan, which are towering offerings that are prepared by the women of the household.

They are presented to the deities on the temple birthday.







Check out the cooked chicken near the bottom of the Gebogan. I was happy to find out the women do bring the offerings home to feed the family with.




The bases are so beautiful.
