Dinner tonight was great, we had a special feast arranged by the group that is hosting the event my dad is attending for work.




They start the evening with a cockfight.




We enjoyed another traditional Balinese dance called the kecak (monkey chant) the stage is set by a ring of 50 dancers that chant the words “kecak-kecak, cak-cak-cak” in a hypnotic tempo while raising their vibrating arms to create the effect of a live circular stage.




The theatrical ballet is performed around the light of an oil lamp to tell the story of Ramayana; again a story of good vs. evil.
